chapter 7 - alpha things we knew

an early update this time--the chapter is short, didn't call for any silly audio production, and i'm not going to have a lot of time to spend in the, uh, "studio" this week.

we are truly working up a head of steam now, though this is another brief one. next two are short too, i may end up keeping a quicker update pace until chapter 10, the end of part 1, at which point i will bundle everything up and have one nice long pdf and mp3 (mostly so itch doesn't get mad at me for having more than 10 files in a project. apparently that's bad.)

from there, i get more ambitious. look forward to it!
